My doll is crying at night

Got this vintage doll from my grandma's attic. Looked cute in my room at first. Then, I started hearing soft sobs at night. I've searched everywhere, it's definitely the doll. There’s no electronics in it – took it apart and everything. What does a crying doll even mean? Is it sadness, a haunting, or am I going nuts?

Haha, maybe it's crying because it doesn't like your decor. Ever think of that? Just kidding... or am I? Seriously though, chuck that thing out before you start crying at night too.

Have you considered the possibility of infrasound? Low-frequency sounds can sometimes be mistaken for supernatural occurrences. It could be something as simple as your heater or house settling that's causing it. Might want to check on that.

This reminds me of that movie Annabelle... be careful with it! You might not just be dealing with a simple haunting - dolls are conduits for all sorts of spiritual energies. Cleanse your room, sage the doll, see if it helps?

Get a voice recorder and do an EVP session. Talk to it. Ask questions and see if you catch answers. Also, put some flour around it at night, see if it moves. Check for footprints. Gotta say, this is super intriguing!

Sound can do weird things, especially in an old house. Could be that moisture inside the doll is causing some weird creaking that sounds like crying. Make sure to rule out all the mundane possibilities before jumping to haunting.

Vintage dolls are notorious for spiritual attachments, especially ones that are hand-me-downs. If you're hearing crying, it might be time to do some digging into your family history. Maybe it's a relative reaching out? Keep us posted, this is the kind of stuff I live for.
