What's up, /r/fitness? Wanna share my little fitness journey here. If you told me six months ago that I'd go keto and love it, I'd probably laugh you off. But here I am - 20 lbs lighter, happier, and healthier—a full-on Keto Kevin!
Anyway, my routine is pretty basic:
Diet Been doing the ketogenic diet. Lots of good fats, moderate protein, and very low carbs. As of day one, I quit sugar completely (a real game-changer, by the way). On a typical day, I eat avocados, eggs, green veggies, chicken, and some fruits (low carb ones, though - berries, primarily)
Exercise I try to get at least 30 minutes of cardio each morning after waking up. Besides that, I do bodyweight training thrice a week. Nothing fancy!
Mindset Oh man, this is important. Stay positive, be patient, work hard – but most importantly, enjoy the journey. You got this!
The most amazing thing? I've never felt better. More energy, and the afternoon slumps? Covering those with some nuts or cheese. So people, think about a lifestyle change, not just a diet fix. Hope this inspires someone. Happy fitness journey, folks!

Kudos to your commitment to health! But remember, every body is different and reacts to diets differently, and what matters is not the diet itself but the overall quality and balance of nutrients you take in. Giving up sugar might be helpful in reducing your caloric intake, and kudos to you for sticking to the plan, but let's not label foods as inherently good or bad. Just my two cents!

Big ups on your achievement, bro! Amazing keto transformation. But here's a thought: ever considered adding some free weights to your routine? Bodyweight training is cool, but weights can really help sculpt that body into a Greek statue. Lol. But seriously bro, think about it.

Nice one on dropping 20 lbs! The keto diet has definitely worked wonders on a pile of people. But man, I personally can't agree with the 30 minutes cardio part. Seems way too short for me. Maybe you could benefit from ramping that up a bit as you get further into your journey?
