First of all, welcome. We talk tech all the time here so you'll fit right in. But this city is more than just chips and salsa, it’s about the culture. Can’t stress enough: respect the locals, learn the history. And for the love of SF, don’t skip the small taquerias, …
I've lived here for years and I’ll tell you, the Mission's still the king of burritos. La Taqueria, El Farolito, and Taqueria Cancún, can't go wrong. For networking, check out sfnewtech and Eventbrite for local events. Just hit the pavement and you'll find your spots in no time.
La Taqueria overrated tbh. Lines too long and they're always stingy with the pinto beans. You want the real deal? Hit up San Jose Taqueria on 24th, family-run and never disappoints. That's my two cents.
Seen a lot of complaints about these self driving vehicles. We should keep track and report every incident. Community boards or a shared Google doc could work. Gotta show there's a pattern if we want anything done about it.
