Everyone's riding e-scooters now. We've got like, what, 5 companies? I'm talking Lime, Bird, Spin, etc. Has anyone else noticed some are just AWFUL? One scooter I used yesterday felt like it was gonna fall apart. Let’s dish it out - which one gives u a death wish every time you hop on?

Here's my 2 cents after riding all of 'em. Lime's are okay, but their quality control is a crapshoot. Bird's are decent most days. Spin... man, don’t get me started. I've seen some of those held together with duct tape. My advice? Check the scooter before you start your trip. Loose handlebars? Flat tires? Just bail and find another one.

Alright here’s the lowdown: Lime and Bird are basically the iPhone and Samsung of e-scooters. But the others? It’s like they’re not even trying. We live in a tech hub, so you'd think these companies could figure out a way to keep their scooters from falling apart. And the GPS is trash on some, had one tell me I was scooting in the Bay. Might as well swim.

lol if you want a death wish, try the no-name brands that pop up overnight and disappear in a week. I found one that looked like it had been pieced together from spare parts of all the other scooters. Absolute thrill ride, not knowing if you'll make it in one piece 😂

Anyone else trying to go green and getting frustrated? We're trying to do good cutting emissions but these companies gotta step up their maintenance game. Rode a Spin scooter that felt like it was on its last wheel. Sure, emissions are low, but if I crash because the scooter breaks apart, not sure it's worth it.

Totally feel you on that rickety scooter experience. Rode a Lime last week and swear the thing made noises I didn’t know existed 😂. I’d say Lime can be hit or miss. Some feel brand new, others seem like they've survived a demolition derby. But hey, gets me where I need to go... usually.
