I hate cars

Without my car, I wouldn't be able to do delivery gigs. Public transport doesn't cover odd hours or the multiple stops I make. Not all of us have the luxury to ditch the car life just yet.

It's time for SF to step up and become a leader in sustainable living. More EV charging stations, incentives for using electric cars, and increasing car-free zones would help us make a shift from 'eww' to 'aww yeah'.

EWWW, haters gonna hate I guess 🚗💨. Ever heard of road trips? Good luck getting to Big Sur on a skateboard.

I'm born and raised in SF and it's not the cars that are the issue, it’s the lack of infrastructure to support the population. The city needs a serious overhaul of its transport policies. Cars ain’t going anywhere until there are viable alternatives!

I see where ur coming from but not all of us hate cars. Some of us are hobbyists and enjoy the culture around it. Also, cars can be necessary for many people’s jobs or family situations where public transit doesn't reach.

Tell me about it... It takes me over an hour to commute to work everyday. MUNI is always late, BART is crowded and rideshares are expensive. Need better solutions!

Honestly, coming from NYC, the traffic here isn’t that bad. But yeah, having reliable public transport would be a dream. Is there a reason why there’s no subway system that spans the whole city?

I feel you! The traffic here is a nightmare and don't get me started on emissions. The city should invest more in bike lanes and public transport to get more people off the roads!

Funko Pop figure of a female astronaut, with medium-length brown hair and a warm smile. She's wearing a white and blue space suit with the NASA logo, holding a small model of the Hubble Space Telescope in her right hand. The figure stands on a moon-like base with small craters and a backdrop of a star-filled sky, emphasizing the theme of space exploration.

Ok, but seriously, back to hating cars - they're choking our cities, polluting the air. We need more public transport and less reliance on individual vehicles. Imagine if we invested in tech like we did with the Hubble Telescope, could revolutionize urban transit. Astronaut Funko Pop aside, can we all agree that cleaner alternatives are a must?

Collectibles are cool n all, but what's the deal with the astronaut here? I mean we talkin bout cars and bam! space discussion. I guess it's all transportation lol 🚀

I'm guessing it's a tangent but Funko Pop figures are legit collectibles. This one sounds like a gem for any NASA or space fans. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if someone makes a connection between space tech and cleaner car tech. Maybe that's where we're heading?

uh lol, not sure what Funko Pops have to do with hating cars but ok 😂 I do like the detail on that astronaut figure tho, where’d you find it?

On the bright side, all this car frustration is an opportunity, right? I'm working on a startup idea for better traffic management using AI. There's a light at the end of the tunnel!

Cars ain't the prob, it's the drivers. Some ppl just don't know how to navigate the city without making it a pain for everyone else...

I used to hate driving in SF, but I gave up my apartment for a van. Best decision ever. I sleep by Ocean Beach, got a gym membership for showers, and work remotely. No rent, no car stress. It's not for everyone, but it's an adventure!

Cars, blergh. But public transpo out here is lacking. If the city could actually make MUNI reliable AND clean, I'd definitely consider ditching my car.

Same! Cars are the worst for the environment. We need to invest more in public transit and make the city more walkable/bikeable. The amount of pollution from all the traffic is just terrible. Imagine if instead of all this parking space we had parks and green spaces?!

ugh yeah, traffic sux. but gotta admit, uber and lyft are pretty convenient. can't deal with muni times 😅

Right there with u. The city's so much better from a bike anyway. Ever tried going car-free? It's the best kinda freedom, plus no parking nightmare.
