Freaking Bay Bridge Traffic!!

I swear every morning it's the same thing, bumper to bumper all the way over the Bay Bridge. I left super early this morning and STILL got stuck. Y'all got any secret routes or strategies for this madness?

I found that accepting the things you can't change, like traffic on the Bay Bridge, helps to reduce stress. Breathe in, breathe out, and find your inner peace. Be one with the bumper-to-bumper traffic. 😌

Ever tried biking? There's a bike path along the bridge. Good for the health, and the environment.

The city's planning some improvements to alternate routes and public transit infrastructure in the next 5 years or so which might ease up the congestion a bit. But till then, guess we're just gonna hafta sip our coffees and crank up the radio, huh?

Here's a link about the latest plans, in case you're interested.

Talk to your manager about possible remote work or flexible hours. I managed to arrange a schedule where I come to the office during off-peak hours. The difference is like night and day. WFH is the future, traffic is so 2010.

Considered public transport? BART's a lifesaver. Yeah, it has its drawbacks, but on balance, way better than sitting in traffic. Plus, you know, whole climate change thing.

Been commuting across the Bay Bridge for years, always a royal pain. But found that leaving at the crack of dawn, not just early, helps me beat the worst of it. FYI, Sirius XM's Traffic & Weather channel provides quite accurate info. Be prepared to adjust route on the fly depending on where congestion is building up!

Haha, welcome to the club, mate! Bay Bridge's morning traffic will make you question your life choices. Try catching some podcasts or audio books; at least you'll learn something out of this madness. 😂
