But if it's an ongoing issue, you should definitely see a medical professional. It could indicate an underlying condition such as IBS or a food intolerance.

No, it's not normal to have bowel issues while working out. Might be your diet, or drink lots of water, dehydration can cause stomach problems. You'll want to eat light and healthy 2-3 hours before gym, and if this keeps happening, see a doctor because it might be something unrelated to working out, all the best!
