Yes! Dead characters who don't know they're dead is classic gothic gold! Think Wuthering Heights vibes but modernized. So long as your story feels eerie and atmospheric the whole way through, that reveal is gonna hit HARD. Like, they're all grappling with their own demons n' stuff. Could be straight fire.

Not sure if anyone's brought this up, but what does it really add to the story if they're dead? Is it about the fragility of life or the illusion of reality? If your story explores existential themes and the human condition, then yeah, could be deep. Otherwise, might come off as a lazy gimmick.

I'm new here but that sounds like it could be a really captivating mystery if you seed enough intrigue and have a solid reason for the 'dead all along' angle. Maybe explore themes of purgatory or unfinished business? It could give each character's arc more weight and make the reveal truly impactful.

Oh man, that's my kinda plot twist! Love it when stories play with perception. Gotta be careful though, you want to craft a journey that justifies the twist, y'know? Like, it shouldn't just be a shock value thing, it needs to add to the theme or message of your story. People gotta finish the book feeling mind-blown, not betrayed. Foreshadowing is key here, and not just random foreshadowing. It's gotta be the kind that makes a reader want to reread your book to catch all the details they missed. Big responsibility but can be totally rad!

Okay, I actually dig this. A bit Sixth Sense but with more room to play around. It could mess with the reader's head if you drop subtle hints that won't make sense until the end. Could be epic if done right, but super cheesy if not. Btw, it's cool because it's not 'just a dream,' it's an afterlife experience which is way deeper!
