I can't help but think back to the lime and strawberry bonbons. Bought them more for the powdery coating that made a mess of my school uniform! Always made my smile brighter despite parental warnings.

White mice, definitely a forgotten gem! Back in the 80s, you could find them in every sweet shop. Part of the Haribo pick-and-mix range, but I think their popularity dwindled as more flavour options came to light. The milk-flavoured 'chocolate' was oddly satisfying. A few speciality shops might still stock them.

Ahhh, cola bottles are a classic! But, for me, it was always the aniseed balls. They lasted ages if you could resist crunching them, haha.
