Weren't things better back then?

Honestly, I'm convinced that things were better back in the day. We had real music, proper television, and you could buy a Mars bar without having to remortgage your house. I miss the simplicity of it all, when the biggest decision of the day was what cartoon to watch. Kids today won’t understand.

Honestly, I do feel like I missed out on the whole 'better times' thing. Wish I experienced life without constant screens. Sounds kinda peaceful!

Don't get me started! Everything now just feels like a money grab. Once upon a time, you could buy a round at the pub and still have change. Simpler days.

Amen to that! I can still remember singing along to Blur and Oasis, good times. Radio now is just not the same, miss the excitement of a new album drop.

Yeah, things were so much better back when we had to walk 10 miles in the snow to buy a loaf of Bread. Luckily, we’ve progressed a bit. 😒

It's tempting to say everything was better back then, but nostalgia can be deceiving. There's some truth in it for sure—the sense of community, no smartphones, and real conversations. But every era has its problems too, which we tend to forget. Still, hard to beat the magic of a Saturday morning cartoon lineup.

Was it really better though? Or is it just our brains playing tricks on us? I mean, sure, things were cheaper but wages were diff too. Grass is always greener!

Defo! I was just reminiscing about the old Walkman days. Music was something else! Now everything just sounds the same to me. 😩

Absolutely!! The 80s was a time of legends, mate. The music, the fashion, the dodgy haircuts. We were livin' in our own little worlds, and loved every minute. Remember when we only had 4 TV channels? Yep, less choice but way better shows. Kids don’t get it these days.
