Ceefax! I remember putting page numbers on post-it notes around the telly. Would often make a tea to pass the time waiting, hoping I didn’t miss it start over from 101. Did anyone else get glued to it watching the lottery results?! 🍵🍪

LOL, Ceefax sounds like a nightmare. Why all the nostalgia for something so slow? I'm glad I missed that era. Today we just say "Hey Siri" or whatever assistant and ta-da! Info flood!

Ceefax was like waiting for your favourite game on the ZX Spectrum to load. Just part of the experience! Every time I think of it, I can practically hear the modem tone, even though there was no sound. Simplified life, but man, if you were impatient, you were out of luck!

Yeh but can you imagine watching the horse racing results one slow page at a time? I remember sitting there just waiting, hoping my horse didn’t come last! The suspense was unreal!! 😅

Ah, Ceefax! I used to memorize the pages like they were bookmarks in my brain. 101 for headlines, 160 for travel updates... kids now with their smartphones have it so easy. Slow internet? Try waiting for that blinking "hold" symbol on Ceefax! 😂
