Absolutely ridiculous, right? Rubble's the construction pup, he's supposed to represent strength and bravery. Slipping in a fear of spiders contradicts his whole persona. It's lazy writing, not to mention a cheap gag. I mean, come on.

Actually, if you remember back in season 1, they hinted at Rubble not liking bugs. It's consistent with his character, just rarely brought up. So, not really a break in character, just a less seen side of him. Adds depth, y'know?

Much brave, such wow. Rubble and spiders, the ultimate showdown. Who needs rescuing now, huh? 😂

Haha, yeah saw that episode! I think it's kinda funny to see Rubble like that. Shows that even the tough ones have their silly fears. :P
