Ultimate Pup Treat Recipe For Your PAW Patrol Party!

Hey PAW fam!! So, my kiddo's obsessed with PAW Patrol (who isn't? lol) and I crafted this Pup Treat Recipe that's a hit at parties!! Here's the scoop:

Ingredients: - 2 cups whole wheat flour - 1 cup rolled oats - 1/2 cup peanut butter (Xylitol free!) - 1 egg - 1/4 cup water or as needed - Cookie cutter (bone-shaped for that pup-factor!)

Steps: 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. 2. Mix flour and oats together in a big bowl. 3. In another bowl, whisk the egg and peanut butter until smooth. Then, stir in the water. 4. Pour the wet mix into the dry mix until it's all gobbled up together (you might need to get your hands in there). 5. Roll out the dough onto a floured surface – about 1/4 inch thick. 6. Use your cookie cutter to stamp out those treats! 7. Line ‘em up on a baking sheet (no greasing needed). 8. Bake for 40 mins if you want ‘em crunchy!

Let 'em cool before serving to your lil' Rubble on the double! Pics or it didn't happen, peeps!

Looks like a solid recipe to me, but always careful about that peanut butter. Fyi for other parents, make sure the peanut butter you're using doesn't have added sweeteners or salt that could be unhealthy for the little ones. Otherwise, game on for treat time!

This is just adorable! Sharing this on my mommy blog where I've got a whole section on crafting for kiddie events. I'll make sure to link back to this post. Also, I've got a few vegan followers, so I'm experimenting with a 'flax egg' to replace the real egg. Will keep you posted on how it turns out. Keep the creative ideas coming!! 🍪🎉

Expert tip here - if you really wanna impress the kids, use icing to draw on the pup tags or collars onto the treats. Also, if you're worried about sugar, yogurt-based frosting is a great alternative for a healthier version. I usually prep these a day ahead and store in an airtight container so there's less rush on the day of the bash. Kudos on the recipe!

Made these last month, the kids and their friends LOVED them. They actually helped rolling out the dough and cutting shapes. It got pretty messy, but it was fun! I'll be making another batch for the local shelter's adoption day! 🐶

Nice one! I'm all for homemade, preservative-free snacks for the kids. To make it even healthier, I tweak the recipe by adding flaxseed for omega 3s and replacing water with unsweetened almond milk for that extra kick of calcium. I avoid peanut butter due to allergies and go for sunflower seed butter - it's super creamy and just as delish! 🌻🥜

Why bother with all this? Just buy a bag of treats and throw on some PAW Patrol stickers. Kids won't know the difference. Lol.

Absolutely love this idea, but my son is allergic to wheat. Has anyone tried this with a gluten-free flour? Need to make sure he can enjoy these treats too without any worries. Thanks in advance!

My kiddos would go nuts for these! Just in time for my twins' PAW Patrol themed party next week. Could I add some food coloring to match the pups' colors? Blue for Chase and pink for Skye? It would be the icing on the cake! Or... the coloring in the treat, I guess? 🐾👮🚁
