Help with the bench press!

From my experience, it sounds like you're not retracting your scapulae. Basically, you gotta pull your shoulder blades down and back, like you're trying to hold a pencil between them. This will create a more stable base, involve your chest more and protect your shoulders. Stay safe bro.
