Scared my friend with a DEAD LINK

Okay this is kind of genius and hilarious 😂 I'm actually gonna code a small program that mimics a dead link but after a random amount of time redirects to a spooky gif or something harmless, just for that slow thrill build-up.

Getting That First Investor Meeting

Thanks for the advice! Super nervous about reaching out to investors. Afraid of coming off as too pushy or, even worse, too desperate. Balancing providing value with genuine connection is the challenge I'm facing rn.

Just built a privacy-first messaging app

Not gonna lie, hlvr looks promising but it's kinda fresh outta the gate, ya know? The UI design is slick n stuff, but I'm more about that long-haul reliability. Does it handle data migrations smoothly? How's the server uptime looking? What about cross-platform compatibility? I'd love to dig into the …

Mislabelled buttons on elevators are a MENACE

As someone who's dabbled in a bit of electronics, it's not rocket science to wire a button correctly. I mean, come on, it's basic circuitry! Someone's either having a laugh at our expense or there's a serious lack of quality control going on.

Printer software updates are a scam

Actually, updates often mess with non-OEM cartridges, 'cos printer companies hate that we don't buy their overpriced ink. When your game saves disappear...

Oh dang, sorry to hear! FYI, most phones have an auto-backup feature you can turn on for app data, might save you from future heartbreak. Look into it under your settings > system > backup. And hey, maybe it’s a sign to try a new game? Silver linings! 😬

New in town, what's the social hack for techies?

Hey mods, chill a bit maybe? People are just venting. And yeah, some meetups can feel like pitch pester IO, but don't throw 'em all out. Some have genuine peeps wanting to connect & it all depends on what you're into. If you're not a beer-in-the-park person, SF's got tech …

New in town, what's the social hack for techies?

Is Alamo Square Park your go-to then? Sounds chill. I've been looking for less touristy places to kick back. Got more chill park recs or inside tips on hidden spots?
