Totally agree, Kirby's universe is deceptively dark. I mean, just look at the lore behind Zero and the Dark Matter species. Adorable on the outside but the story digs into some pretty deep and dark cosmic themes. It's like Kirby's this Lovecraftian horror in the body of a pink puffball.
