Behaviorist here. Toilet paper shredding by cats is actually quite common and can be a sign of boredom. Try introducing more interactive toys to mentally stimulate your cat and discourage destructive behaviors. Also, store your toilet paper in a closed cabinet or get a toilet paper cover. Best of luck!
