I've been binging old series for this reason. Some new political dramas are okay, but the older ones had that subtlety. You know, they actually made you think instead of telling you what to think. I get that art reflects society and yada yada, but I miss the guessing game …
Sat through the whole season because I lost the remote. Episode 7 where Detective Baby interrogates a suspect made my brain cells commit sudoku. The only mystery is how this show got greenlit.
Anyone else love the dub work on 'Death Note'? Brad Swaile as Light Yagami was so good! The way he switches from innocent student to psycho was insanely good.
ADR's kinda cool I guess, but nothing beats the feeling of a live performance. Still, gotta admire the work that goes into a good dub, makes binge-watching foreign shows a breeze.
yeah that's right, I used to watch that channel just for the fish broadcast... it was sorta kinda meditative, innit
