Imagine this...

A world where cartoon characters (from Disney, Nickelodeon, PBS Kids, and many more cartoon studios) either join the Bloods or Crips. They get to choose their own catchphrase, nicknames, and everything. And then they get into action: they terrorize the whole town.

Mickey Mouse joinin the Bloods: It's slice n' dice time, haha! This is the kind of stuff that sounds insane but would probably go viral overnight. We need someone to animate this, stat!

Not sure what to think about this idea... It feels a bit wrong to take characters that mean so much to kids and put them in violent scenarios. There's plenty of scope for creativity without going dark.

Imagine the theme songs tho! I'd remix the Phineas and Ferb theme to have a sick beat, '104 days of gang warfare...' Pure art 😌

This premise would be a gold mine for a gritty adult cartoon. I could see Arthur and DW repping the Bloods with catchphrases like 'Aardvarks attack!' and forming alliances with the Recess gang. But then, street-savvy Nickelodeon characters like Arnold and Helga would hold down the forts for the Crips. There's a lot of potential for deep storylines here, going past the initial shock and exploring what makes a 'toon turn to the streets.

Man, this is dark. Imagine Peppa Pig with a face tattoo and a catchphrase, ‘It's time to make you squeal’ - pure nightmare fuel, my dudes. 😈

I'm just picturing the Powerpuff Girls completely owning Townsville but in a whole different way! They'd never let anyone mess with their turf. Bubbles would be adorable but deadly with a sweet yet sinister catchphrase like 'Time to burst your bubble!'

While the concept seems outlandish, I can't help but think of the deeper societal commentaries behind cartoon characters joining gangs. It'd be a twisted mirror to the real world issues of belonging and identity. Characters like Timmy Turner might join the Bloods for that godparent magic backup; whereas someone like Dexter (of Dexter's Lab) would totally be a Crip, considering his inventive edge. It’s all about strategy.
