Statistically speaking, teams with solid defense frequently outperform their opponents. It's hard but necessary. Start working on your agility to improve your defense.

Hey man, every baller has their strengths and weaknesses. If your coach sees potential in you, that’s why he’s pushing you. Work on your footwork, lateral movement, and reading the game. Watch some NBA players and how they move and react. Might help you understand better. It’s a journey, keep at it!

Hey man, it sounds like you're having a tough time, but don't get discouraged. Basketball isn't just about scoring, but also about preventing the other team from doing so. Your coach is pushing you because he knows you can improve.

Not everyone is naturally gifted at defense, but it can definitely be learnt. Begin by working on your footwork and conditioning; this will help keep you in front of your opponent. Always remember to stay low and keep your feet wide - it’ll make you quicker laterally. Check your posture too, your knees should be bent and hands up ready to challenge any shots or disrupt passes.

Work on staying aware of both your man and the ball. This is crucial in team defense, especially when needing to provide help. Being 'ball-you-man' can intercept a lot of passes and prevent easy scoring opportunities for the opponents.

Lastly, don't overlook the importance of studying the game. Watch pro games, learn the advanced defensive techniques like swing step, drop step, etc. See how they react to different situations. Also watch your own game footage, if available, to spot your mistakes and areas for improvement.

This may be a lot to take in, but starting with these basics will greatly improve your defense. Let's get that hustle on!

Haha ur coach turnin u into a marathon runner or wt? Still, remember defense wins games man. Learn to like it. Also, it’s all about reading the play b4 it happens. Try to guess where the pass gonna go next, use ur intuition and all that. You might just find urself stealin the ball more times than u thot. And remember, every pro was once a rookie. You'll improve over time.
