Waiter Threw Shade and Food at Table 12

So there I was at The Saucy Spoon, expecting a decent meal, but nope. Ordered the spaghetti, and the waiter looked at me like I'd asked him to solve a quantum physics equation. THEN, when he brought the food, he pretty much tossed it at our table. Spaghetti sauce on my shirt, on my date's dress, everywhere. And all we got was a 'whoops'. Never again!

And they call it The Saucy Spoon? More like The Sloppy Spoon! Sorry for your experience. If it's Italian you crave, trust me, I know some spots that will treat you and your carbs with respect. DM me if you want recommendations. And I agree with others, definitely leave a review. They owe you a shirt AND an apology!

That's so awkward. I can't even imagine how embarrassed I’d be. Did you escalate it? Like ask for a manager? I probably would've just sat there in shock. 🍝😳

Man, what a mess. It's wild what passes for 'service' these days. Write to the owner or post on their social media. Some places compensate for this kinda thing. Also, yelp it up - people gotta know what they're walking into!

Ha! Table 12 is cursed, mate. I heard stories. Next time, ask for table 13—way luckier.

This is why I always stick to salad bars. Much harder to toss a lettuce leaf at someone with the same dramatic effect as spaghetti. Seriously though, that's ridiculous service. I'd suggest leaving a detailed review on every site you can. And maybe look for a nice organic restaurant next time?

Guess that waiter took 'throwing together a meal' a bit too literally! 😅 But honestly, if that happened to me I'd be so mad. Hope ur date didn't end on a sour note because of that spaghetti slip-up.

Omg that’s terrible service. 😡 As someone who's worked in a restaurant, this is a big no-no, and they should've at least comped your meal or given you a voucher. Def talk to the manager or leave a review online, that's not okay.

Seems like The Saucy Spoon added a new meaning to 'food fight,' lol. That waiter must’ve been having the worst day ever or thinks he's a comedian. Sorry about your clothes though, dry cleaning on them for sure.
