Alright listen up, I'm a vegan and I get that BBQ Barn is not catering to me, but I was with friends. They claim to have 'vegan-friendly' items but let me tell you about the so-called vegan salad I ordered. It was pretty much just iceberg lettuce (not even romaine!) with two cherry tomatoes and - get this - bacon bits sprinkled all over it. And when I told them, they just shrugged. Zero effort. Do better BBQ Barn.

As someone who runs a BBQ place myself, it's tough to cater to everyone, but that's no excuse for this. Y'all deserve a proper meal too. My spot has a dedicated vegan section on the menu with more than just leafy greens. Hope BBQ Barn takes a leaf outta our book!

Ridiculous! They claim vegan-friendly and sprinkle dead pig on it?! I'm SO over restaurants not taking our choices seriously. This is exactly why cross-contamination and lack of options are huge issues everywhere we go. They need to be educated or just drop the false advertising.

Hey, that's really disappointing to hear. I've got a couple of vegan friends and I know eating out can be a struggle. Maybe try reaching out to the management with some constructive feedback? They might not be aware that their 'vegan option' isn't up to scratch. It could help them improve and stop this kind of mistake in the future.

This is why I'm always skeptical about 'vegan-friendly' labels at non-veg places. Like seriously, how hard is it to double-check what constitutes vegan?? I've seen this happen too many times, where they just throw some lettuce on a plate and call it a day. If they can't get a simple salad right, imagine what they're doing to other dishes smh.
