Just saw the new logo for that skate brand 'Kickflip Kings'. They dropped the crown and the board in the logo, now it's just KFK in some sad sans-serif. Looks like a bank logo, not a skate shop. RIP street cred.

Heard they rebranded for the 'digital age' whatever that means. Just ends up looking like a generic startup. Unless they're dropping an NFT or moving the store to the metaverse, not vibing with it tbh. Stick to the concrete, not the cloud, ya know?

There's a fine line between minimalism and soullessness. This rebrand? It's tiptoeing right on the edge, and not in a Tony Hawk pulling a 900 kinda way. A logo should capture the essence of the brand. KFK's new look? It captures the exciting world of... fonts. I get they may want to appeal to a wider audience but c'mon, throwing away defining elements? Risky move.

Legit, who did they hire for this, some suit who's never stepped on a board? The old design had some real soul with the crown n all. Made it feel like you were part of something. Now it's just sterile. Bet they'll see their core fans drop like a failed ollie. 🤦♂️
