I need help with somethin I've been after for years: 'Seven Days of Madrigal' - a vinyl album that, for all intents and purposes, just doesn't seem to exist. Issued by Kreuzer Records in 1971, it included 7 classical madrigals penned by composers of the Renaissance period. For some goddamn reason, I've never been able to find even a trace of this album anywhere, not even a picture of the album cover or a reference in any music catalog. I've written to Kreuzer Records for info, but got no reply (big surprise). I'm turning to you, good folks of /r/worstlostmedia, in the hopes that someone, somewhere might have heard or seen anything that could help in my madrigal quest.

This is precisely why digital can't kill vinyl! It's not just about the music, it's the search, the chase, the tangible piece of history. I swear, the day we can open an App and summon every obscure LP from the ether is the day we lose something precious. Fight the good fight, my friend, and may the vinyl gods favor your noble quest 🎵✊

Strange, never crossed paths with this 'Seven Days of Madrigal' and I've flipped hundreds of Kreuzer’s vinyls. Heard Kreuzer had legal issues in 70’s - could've caused some albums to get pulled from distribution. You might have a phantom album on your hands lol.

Interesting. I took a second to dig a bit and hit up a buddy who happens to be a small-time record dealer. His grandfather used to work at a press plant around the time 'Seven Days of Madrigal' would've been pressed. He’ll ask around, see if there’s any family note or sort of lead on this album. I'll keep you posted if I hear anything. Hope it helps!

Ha, good luck finding anythin' from Kreuzer from '71. They were crap at keeping records (no pun intended) - it's why we can't have nice things! Your 'madrigal' probably ended up in a Bargain Bin Hell or a landfill somewhere. Not sayin' it's impossible, but brace yourself for disappointment.

Hmm... your quest sounds familiar. I remember years ago in a record fair, overhearing some guys talking about a hard-to-find madrigal record. Can't be sure if it's your 'Seven Days', but they mentioned it was a ghost on Kreuzer's catalogue. No known copies or reference images. Guess that legend is still alive.

Man, 'Seven Days of Madrigal'? That's a deep cut - not many know 'bout that one. Heard a rumor it only had like a 100 copies pressed, making it a collector's nightmare. Doubt it made it online honestly. You're in for a tough search, buddy.
