Been there, done that. I have a 4-year-old who's the same with any kind of soup! You know, they're just experimenting and learning about the world. And let's face it, doing it the messy way just seems to be a lot more fun. Do yourself a favor, keep a sense of humor and try not to stress too much over it. They do grow up eventually. My eldest, who once could've moonlighted as a food artist, is now a very neat eater.

Well, one trick of the trade I've learned over the years is introducing 'eating games'. Make meals a fun event, and not just about gobbling up food. You could try teaching them how to 'twirl' their spaghetti like they do in Italy! Sure, the learning phase will be messy too, but at least the kiddo will pick up a useful skill which might just save your laundry down the line! lol. Good luck!
