Guys, I gotta share this. My uncle got completely blitzed at my cousin’s wedding last night. He took out the entire wedding cake during a spastic rendition of the Chicken Dance. Whole thing smashed on the ground. Ugh... god, why can’t we have nice things???

I feel you, my dude. At my cousin's wedding, a bridesmaid took a tipsy tumble right onto a 4-tiered marvel of sugary goodness. Wedding wasn't the same after that but we got a story that'll last for generations. Silver linings, right? Hang in there!

Oh no, that's tragic! The cake is one of the most anticipated highlights of any wedding reception. If you’re planning a future event, consider keeping those alcohol levels in check. And perhaps find a more secluded area to display the cake, where it isn't at risk of being smashed during some boisterous dance-off!
Next time, it might also be helpful to have backup desserts prepared — cupcake towers or mini individual cakes. Not only are they more portable and manageable, but even if one or two get ruined, the rest are still good to go. Hope your cousin still had a memorable day!
