Alright folks, this one's a doozy. Built my dream PC two months back, and it's turned into a nightmare. I’ve gone through every troubleshooting guide in the universe. So specs first - Ryzen 7 5800X, RTX 3080, 32GB RAM at 3600MHz, 1TB NVMe SSD, 850W PSU.
Started with the usual suspects - updated all drivers, rolled back Windows Update, ran memtest86 (RAM passed, no issues). Checked temperatures, and they're well within limits. Stress testing doesn't seem to trigger crashes, it’s always random. Sometimes I'm gaming, sometimes just browsing.
Dug deeper, swapped PSU, no luck. Breadboarded the mobo, nada. Updated the BIOS, prayed to the tech gods - nothing. The error codes are all over the place too, so it's not just one component misbehaving.
I need ideas, people. Has anyone been in this hole of despair and clawed their way out? Drop your wisdom!

Unlikely but maybe a long shot - could software be at fault? Rare instances where certain app configurations cause systems to destabilize. Try a clean boot into safe mode and monitor stability. By doing this you're essentially running the system with minimal drivers and programs - could help isolate whether it's software or hardware.

Checking event viewer in Windows? Could give some clues, maybe a recurring error just before each crash? Also, I'd make sure your motherboard's getting good power from the PSU. You mention swapping PSUs but try another cable or rail maybe?

Had random crashes before and it was the motherboard which was the culprit after all. A tiny hairline crack in one of the traces. Took ages to identify it. Might not be your case, but if you have a spare mobo lying around, could be worth testing with a different one.

This may be a long shot, but any nearby electronics that could be causing interference? Like weirdly, I found my router caused my old rig to crash occasionally. Also, check your motherboard for any signs of physical damage, sometimes a microscopic fissure or a solder problem can do the darndest things.

Oh man, BSODs are a pain. Heard about similar issues with Ryzen and certain SSD models. There can be weird incompatibilities. Check with other folks to see if your SSD model has a bad rep with Ryzen platforms or if a firmware update for the SSD is available.

Seems like you've covered almost all bases. But here's something you might not have thought of: check for BIOS updates specifically addressing RAM stability, Ryzen chips can be picky with memory. Also, maybe downclock your RAM and see if that stabilizes the system. RAM might pass tests and still cause issues at high speeds.
