Dropped my phone and it's a goner...

Picked up the latest flagship, not even a month old, must've slipped from my pocket and this thing is totally fried now. Screen's cracked worse than a spider web and it won't even turn on. This is why we can't have nice things!

Oof, that sucks! 😖 Nothing worse than losing your lifeline to the world... and your games. If it's really bad, maybe take it into a repair shop? Sometimes they work miracles. Good luck!

Welcome to the club! These manufacturers build phones as delicate as glass eggs. Lust over their beauty then weep over their fragility. They should make 'em sturdy like the old Nokias. Now those were real phones.

Ah that stinks!!! Once went hiking with my phone in my pocket, and I just about had a heart attack every time I checked if it was still there. 😬 Cases and screen protectors are great and all but I swear by phone insurance now. It's a small price to pay for peace of mind!

This is exactly why I don't buy flagships on release. They're overpriced and overrated. All it takes is one drop and poof, there goes a grand. Get yourself a mid-ranger next time, saves money and headache.

Sounds fishy... Most of these phones are supposed to survive some drops, no? Are you sure it wasn't already defective or something? I'd argue for a replacement if I were you. Fight the power!

Yikes, that sounds like something I would do 🙃 Have you tried the rice trick? I know it's not much but it's saved a couple of my devices in the past. Worth a shot if you haven't!

Felt that, had the same thing happen to me last year. RIP to your phone tho. Guess now's a good time as any to preach the benefits of a good case. Sorry for your loss, dude.

That's a real bummer man, but with flagships these days you've got some options. If it’s within 30 days, you might even have a return window depending on where you bought it. Also check if your credit card offers purchase protection, some cards cover accidental damage. For future, consider investing in a solid case+screen protector. Expensive, yeah, but so is a new flagship, right?
