Drop it like it's hot!

So, decided to try the 'ultimate durability test' on my brand-new iPhone, just like those YouTubers. Good news: The screen is really tough. Bad news: The phone ain't exactly functional after a 3-storied plummet.

Ouch, that hurts just reading it. You gotta be more careful with tech, mate. They're durable, not indestructible.

Having worked in the tech industry for 20 years, it's always entertaining to witness someone's surprise when their pricy new tech doesn't survive a calamity it wasn't designed to withstand. I mean, it's not like they advertise it as resistant to daredevil stunts. You might get the screen replaced and restore some functionality, but brace yourself for a hefty repair bill. In the future, if you’re eager to drop cash on destruction, maybe ring in to those late-night TV fundraising events. At least you'll get a thank-you letter.

Dropping it from a 3-story building to test durability? Why didn't I think of that? 🤔 In all seriousness though, you may want to stick to playing catch with balls and not iPhones in the future.

As a mom of boys, I swear, y'all take 'break it to see how it works' to a whole new level. RIP your wallet though.

Dude, that’s pretty hilarious! But real talk, you must have some serious cash to throw around, cause those iPhones don’t come cheap! Btw, that's a lesson well learned, I guess. Don't try this at home, guys.

Tech expert here. Look, it's always fun to see those durability tests being carried out by professionals on YouTube. Keyword here being: professionals. They know what risks they're taking. In future, don't use your brand-new devices for these experiments. Now, for your iPhone, I guess you should take it to an authorized service center. They'll examine it and let you know the cost of repairs.
