Spent HOURS working on my little cousin's bday cake, right? Multiple layers, had it lookin like a unicorn, was super proud of it. Everyone's excited, I'm carrying it to the table, and BOOM. The bottom layer just gave in, and the whole thing became a unicorn massacre. Frosting and cake all over the place, cousin's crying, I’m standing there with a plate of colorful mush. Thought I was on Cake Boss, turned out to be Nailed It. Super sucks.

Hey, pro cake decorator here. It's a common mistake, don’t beat yourself up. Next time try using a denser cake for the bottom layer—think pound cake. For something as ambitious as a unicorn, internal supports are key. And a good buttercream dam between the layers will help prevent any filling from oozing out and weakening the structure. Experience is just the name we give our cake mishaps!

Lesson learned: always check your structural integrity before liftoff. 🚧 Gotta say though, it takes epic skill to make something that pretty in the first place, so kudos! Next time it'll be even better, and hey, maybe double up on those dowels if you're stacking high.

First of all, a unicorn cake? That's awesome!!! But ugh, that's brutal after all your effort. R.I.P to the cake. Maybe it's a sign, like a unicorn dying means you're a true baker now? Like a chef's gotta burn their first dish or something lol.

Oh no, I feel ya! That's every baker's nightmare, watching hours of hard work turn into disaster in a split second 🎂😱 Just know we've all been there before! Remember, the cake might've fallen apart, but the memory of what you made (and the story that goes with it) will stick around for way longer.
