Hi all, Gordon Ramsay here. So I stopped by my own kitchen to whip up a quick lobster ravioli and what do you think happened? I couldn't find the bloody truffle butter and messed up the whole thing! Ended up serving a subpar ravioli like a novice. It's horrible, I've never been this humiliated. Very dissapointed. I wouldn't even feed it to my dog. #ThisSucks #ChefLife

Poor Ramsay lost without his precious truffle butter. Next, you're going to tell me you can't make an omelette without caviar. Really man? It's like me saying I can't make a toast without artisanal, hand churned butter from the Swiss alps. Get over yourself.

As someone who works in the truffle industry, it's quite common for it to be unavailable or out of stock. Especially if you're after the high-quality stuff which I'm sure Ramsay wouldn't settle for anything less. If this happens again you can infuse regular butter with a little truffle oil, won't be the same, but can save the dish!

Even the great Gordon Ramsay can have a bad day in the kitchen? Respect for admitting it man, I once served raw turkey on Thanksgiving, it happens. Next time, for the lobster ravioli you could try a garlic herb butter if you can't find the truffle one. Should still be pretty damn good!
