Perfect wedding ruined by unexpected guest

So there I was, outdoor wedding all set, everything going perfect, when out of nowhere this MASSIVE storm hits. We're talking biblical rain. Marquee flooded, bride's dress a muddy mess, caterer's tent almost took off like a kite. Isn't it ironic, don't you think?

Well, at least the 'til death do us part' bit got tested early on. Marriage is all about overcoming obstacles, right? Consider this Level 1. Better luck with your next level!

Irony's a harsh DJ – plays the tunes you least expect at your party. Props to Alanis Morissette for the soundtrack to your debacle!

As a wedding photographer, I always tell couples that the unexpected moments often make the best memories...and photos! Sure, it's a muddy dress now, but think of the story for the grandkids!

Guess you could say your love's so strong it moved the skies! But on the real, that sucks. At least it’s a wedding no one's gonna forget! Silver linings, my friend.

Did you check the weather, or was the storm part of the entertainment? XD

It's like nature's way of saying 'Congrats!' But seriously, if you think about it, it's kind of beautiful. In one day you got the full experience of marriage--sunshine and storms. Maybe it's an omen for a strong relationship that can weather anything!

This is why I always have a 'Plan B' for weddings, and sometimes even a 'Plan C.' Sounds like everything that could've gone wrong decided to RSVP 'Yes.' Hopefully, you can laugh it off and the photos turned out epic in the end, wet hair and all!

Nothing like a surprise pool party on your wedding day, huh? Hope someone brought floaties!
