Surprise party gone wrong

K, so my bff thought it'd be cool to throw me a surprise party. Here's the thing - she told everyone to hide and be super silent as I walked in. Well, my arrival cue wasn't clear to EVERYONE. Walked into my dark house thinking it was empty. Not a sound. Next thing I know I'm freaking out, thinking maybe I'm about to be in a horror movie, when suddenly everyone jumps out. Might've screamed louder than I should have... definitely a birthday to remember, or try to forget.

Note to self: always have clear arrival cues. A good party planner thinks of everything! But hey, a party to remember indeed! Maybe next year opt for the surprise to be a trip to somewhere less... traumatizing. 😄

I gotta say, not everyone's cut out for surprise parties. Maybe next time, just a heads up 'It's dark but you're not alone' could spare you the heart attack lol.

That scream was probably the highlight of the party 😆 Should've recorded it and used it as your ringtone, that'd be epic!

Surprise party? More like surprise panic attack. Your friends owe you a cake after that prank. At least one without a monster jumping out of it.

Honestly, that sounds like the perfect beginning to a horror movie - I'd totally watch it 😂. Next year, just ask for a quiet dinner instead, save yourself the heart attack, lol.

Haha, surprise parties are always a hit or miss but hey, look on the bright side, at least you've got a great story to tell now! Plus, it shows your friends really care about you to organize a surprise party. Glad you're okay though!
