In a moment of boldness, I decided to backpack across Europe last summer. I'd like to share my experience with y'all, so here goes.
First off, my flight was delayed by 5 hours. A little frustrating, but hey, these things happen. I got into London at 2 AM, and guess what, I couldn’t find my hostel. It seemed to have vanished into thin air. After a sketchy night spent in Leicester Square, I ended up booking a pricey hotel room just to get some rest.
Day 2 didn’t fare much better. The 'authentic' fish & chips I was so eager to try left me with a bad case of food poisoning. Spent the entire day in bed.
Fast forward to France. I was pickpocketed near The Louvre and ended up losing half my euros. Had to call and cancel my credit cards and document the loss to police. At this point, all I wanted to do was go home.
In Italy, I swear the universe was against me. Right when I was beginning to enjoy the sights, I fell into the canal in Venice while trying to take a selfie. Drenched in canal water, holding a now-broken phone, I limped back to my hostel feeling miserable and vowing to never leave home again, ever.
I came home a week early, having had my fill of calamities for one trip. So, that was my nightmare vacation. Here's hoping all of you have better travels than me!

I experienced the same vacation. Went to Amsterdam, when I tried to take a selfie, a dog grabbed the phone and gave it to another child. The dog then barked at me for being a bad child. When I went to Paris, they gave me a new phone, but they locked it in a safe that said "DO YOUR MOTHERF*CKING HOMEWORK!". I did, but the phone was 10% of battery. Then we went to Croatia, and Croatians disliked us so badly they took us away to a Burger King and forced to eat a huge Whopper. At least my (new) phone was charged.

Haha, man, travels in Europe are always a mixed bag aren't they? I've had a seagull steal my lunch in Barcelona and nearly fell down a flight of stairs in Rome. But hey, that's all part of the charm, right? Next time, try to chill more, go with the flow and you'll have a great time. Some of the best stories come from the most unexpected experiences!

Aw man, that's rough! As a local, it honestly pains me to read how you've had such a terrible experience. Not all of us are pickpockets I promise, haha. Next time you're around these parts, hit me up. I'd be more than happy to show you around, perhaps it'll restore your faith in Europe a bit.

Laughs nervously Wow mate, and I thought my trip to Morocco was a nightmare when my sunscreen exploded in my backpack. Your journey across Europe is on a whole other level. But hey, on the bright side, can't get any worse next time, right?!
