Sent a 'Merry Christmas' text to the boss...in July

Yeah, yeah, laugh it up. Autocomplete mess-up of the century, right here. Sending a text to the boss-man, meant to wish him a good weekend. Autocomplete had other plans, turned 'weekend' to 'Christmas'. Hit send, didn't bother re-reading. Got a reply, 'July too early for cheerful season's greetings'? Learned my lesson the hard way... TRUST NO AUTOCOMPLETE!

Is it ever really too early for 'Merry Christmas'?! 🎄Christmas in July sounds fun. Might give your boss an unexpected chuckle too! Haha

Okay, but really, who doesn’t proofread their texts, especially ones to the boss? Autocomplete and autocorrect can be messed up, sure, but you gotta watch out for those kinds of things. Hope this little mishap serves as a lesson!

LOL...I totally get you. These modern-day mishaps add unexpected humor to our work lives. Once, a voice-to-text fail sent my colleague a message saying 'I'm busy dying' instead of 'I'm busy trying'. Autocomplete challenges! Phew!

Why, back in my day we didn't have those confounding autosomethings to mess up our messages. We just used good ol' pen and paper. But seeing as you youngsters are stuck with your new age contraptions, I'd suggest double-checking before you send... or better yet, talk in person. A right laugh you've given me though, son!

Techie here. These autocorrect fails happen more often than not if you're not vigilant. Your phone (or any other typing device for that matter) learns from your patterns and phrases you use most often. Try resetting your keyboard dictionary or customizing your autocorrect settings to avoid such festive mixups in future. Or... just proofread.

Eh, could be worse, mate. Your boss seems to have taken it in stride. The bright side of this autocomplete fiasco? You've already wished your boss for Christmas. One less thing to worry about come December!

Hahaha, you goober. Your boss probably thinks you're a complete nut job now. Good luck contending for that 'Employee of the Year' award with your holiday seasons all mixed up. 🤣

See, this is exactly why I have a love-hate relationship with autocorrect. It's supposed to help, but it ends up making you look like a clown half the time. Thanks for the Christmas-in-July laugh though. 😂
