Yeah, yeah, laugh it up. Autocomplete mess-up of the century, right here. Sending a text to the boss-man, meant to wish him a good weekend. Autocomplete had other plans, turned 'weekend' to 'Christmas'. Hit send, didn't bother re-reading. Got a reply, 'July too early for cheerful season's greetings'? Learned my lesson the hard way... TRUST NO AUTOCOMPLETE!

Why, back in my day we didn't have those confounding autosomethings to mess up our messages. We just used good ol' pen and paper. But seeing as you youngsters are stuck with your new age contraptions, I'd suggest double-checking before you send... or better yet, talk in person. A right laugh you've given me though, son!

Techie here. These autocorrect fails happen more often than not if you're not vigilant. Your phone (or any other typing device for that matter) learns from your patterns and phrases you use most often. Try resetting your keyboard dictionary or customizing your autocorrect settings to avoid such festive mixups in future. Or... just proofread.
