Just found my old pog collection in my parents' basement. Man, these were the days, huh? Flipping those stacks and the rush of winning some sick designs from friends. But let’s not forget the real MVPs: the slammers. Had this one metal slammer with a skull on it, basically my lucky charm. Anyone else remember their favorite slammer?

Ah, slammers. Let's not forget how diverse those were—metal, plastic, even rubber ones. I had a collection of them separated by material and theme. Favorites have to be the limited editions though, like the ones from fast-food promo deals. They were tricky to get but oh so satisfying when you completed the set.

Ha, you kids and your metal slammers. Back in MY day, we had the 8-Ball slammer and it was king. Anything less and you were playing in the kiddie pool. Loved the heft it had—sent pogs flying like nobody's business. I still got mine; wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Dude, pogs were a cornerstone of my childhood! Those slammers—total game changers. My fav was this heavy brass one with a holographic dragon on top. Cost me a whole week's allowance but was worth every penny when I saw my opponent's faces. Countless playground battles won with that bad boy.
