Hi. I'm flying out of the country for the first time and kinda nervous about it. Just long-ass flights and layovers... what’s the best way to prepare? Any advice appreciated!!

Layovers are the universe's way of punishing you for choosing the cheaper flight. But seriously, use that time to stretch your legs, or you’ll arrive looking like a question mark. And those moving walkways? they’re not rides, keep walking pal.

Take the window seat, the views are everything. Watching the world go by from above is magical. Bring a book for the layovers, or chat with fellow travelers, you can meet some amazing people. Mostly, enjoy the feeling of heading somewhere new, it's the best!

omg i totally get u, flying freaks me out too. what helps me is having everything organized - all my travel docs in one place, and I triple-check I've got everything. I even pack my own blanket and travel pillow, feels more like home. And deep breaths, remember, flying’s the safest way to travel!

Joe's point about jet lag is solid. To beat it, adjust your sleep pattern a few days before flying. Also, set your watch to the destination time as soon as you board. It's mind over matter. Try to sleep if it’s night there and stay awake if it’s day. And stay on your feet during layovers, keeps the jet lag monster at bay. Safe travels!

Flight attendant here! For long flights, wear comfy clothes and compression socks. Stay hydrated but avoid alcohol and too much caffeine. Pack a small toiletry kit to freshen up before landing, trust me, it makes a huge difference. For layovers, explore the airport - some have great amenities. And always keep an eye on the departure boards for gate changes.

Never flown coach international, but business class is sweet. If you can upgrade, do it. Layovers are nothing with lounge access. Just remember if you're stuck in economy, bring your own comfort - blanket, pillow, and snacks. Pro tip: noise-cancelling headphones are a game-changer.

Hey! Flying international can be a rollercoaster but it's an adventure for sure. First up, stay hydrated cuz planes are dry, and walk around during the flight to keep your blood flowing. Check if you need power adapters for your layover or destination. Load up your devices with movies/series, the in-flight entertainment might be meh. Oh and grab a neck pillow, those seats are a pain in the neck (pun intended).
