Vancouver in a weekend - doable?

Got a long weekend coming up and thinkin' to hit Vancouver. Any suggestions on must-sees and dos? Wanna make the most of my time, maybe some hidden local spots too!

Vancouver? Easy. Ditch the mainstream. Spend your day in East Van, hit the breweries, snip some vinyl at Red Cat Records. And try a meditation class at The Dharma Temple. So underrated.

You must feel the heartbeat of the city. Wander through Stanley Park and breathe in the ancient air of the rainforest. Let the multicultural mosaic at the Richmond Public Market speak to your soul. Seek a local's wisdom at a Kitsilano coffee shop.

Focus on a few areas instead of rushing everywhere. Gastown for that historic vibe + cool shops. Maybe a quick trip to the Museum of Anthropology at UBC—it’s got some really interesting cultural stuff.

If you think you can 'do' Vancouver in a weekend, you're kidding yourself. Place is more than checklists and hurried snapshots. Still, if you must, walk the Seawall. It’s the essence of the city. And eat a Japadog, I guess. It’s what tourists do.

OMG, yes! Capilano Suspension Bridge is magical, but it's pricey—just so ya know. And, get sushi! Miku is amazing but it ain't cheap. For casual stuff, the Richmond Night Market is kinda like Asian street food heaven, goes off on weekends. Enjoy, eh?!

As a local, here's my two cents. Skip the typical tourist spots. If you've got time, head to Deep Cove for kayaking and some bomb donuts at Honey's. For a night out, try the quirky bars on Main Street—lots of cool, less touristy spots to grab a drink. And for a solid brunch, go to Yolks. Trust me, it'll set you right for a day of exploring.

Totally doable. Definitely hit up Granville Island for some food and art vibes. If the weather's nice, catch a sunset at English Bay. Oh, and if you're into a lil' hike, the view from Quarry Rock is epic!
