For those who find charm in the old, there's this obscure store nestled down in the heart of Adelaide, Australia. A lampland of sorts. Beautiful vintage and antique lamps all over! Such a visual delight. The owner, an elderly gentleman, mentioned that his collection comes from all over the world! Mid-century, Arts and Crafts movement, Art Nouveau - name it, you'll likely find it! Place has got no website though. Been there myself, cannot remember the bloomin' name! Anyone from Adelaide here who knows which store I mean?

It appears you're referring to a store colloquially known amongst locals as 'Luminous Relics'. It is indeed a treasure trove for proponents of older, more classical aesthetics. The establishment is, regrettably, quite nondescript in terms of branding and thus conceivably easy to forget. Its charm lies precisely in this obscurity, a hidden repository of beautiful artifacts from bygone eras.

Mmmm, sounds like a gold mine for us designers. Unique lighting really can make or break a space. A vintage lamp can be a conversation piece, a work of art.... it's all about the ambiance it gives off, y'know? Props to this old guy for recognizing that. I'm not in Adelaide, but if I ever get there, this store's on my list for sure!
