So there’s this reality tv show I watched like a decade ago, it's basically an obstacle course competition but with crazy costumes and people getting wrecked by giant foam hammers. The commentary was hilarious and the contestants had funny intros. Think it was on a major network. Any clue what it’s called? Thx!!!

Yeah, the series 'Wipeout' was entertaining but kind of repetitive after a few seasons. The commentators John Henson and John Anderson kept it fresh though. Plus, Jill Wagner’s interviews before the contestants took the beating of their lives, lol.

Definitely 'Wipeout' – instant classic! I remember the show's distinct segments, like the Sweeper or Dizzy Dummy. Was a fan of the holiday specials they did. They’d deck out the whole course in a theme, and the contestants’ costumes were just... chef’s kiss! Good times.

Yeah, that's gotta be 'Wipeout.' They always start with the Qualifier round and it’s crazy, contestants jump over sweeping arms and take massive spills. Plus, don’t forget those insane costumes they wore. There's tons of reruns on different channels and you can probably find it streaming somewhere.

What you're describing sounds like 'Wipeout'. It first aired in 2008 on ABC. The participants had to navigate through extreme obstacle courses, including the infamous Big Balls and Sucker Punch walls, while hosts provided comedic commentary. It’s a pretty popular series and even had some international versions.
