old cartoon network show with robots???

ok, this is driving me nuts. there was this show on cartoon network back when I was a kid. i barely remember but it had robots and a kid who could like... control them or something? they would fight other robots? animation was pretty slick, not the usual stuff. anyone got any clue? it’s like on the tip of my tongue!!!

Maybe 'Whatever Happened to... Robot Jones?' I mean it wasn't the slickest but def had its unique charm. Lol, anyone remember that one?

idk if this helps but maybe 'Teen Titans'? like it’s superheroes not robots, but Cyborg is kinda robotic, right? animation was kinda anime-ish too. not sure if that’s what ur lookin for tho

Okay, a show on CN, slick animation, robots... Are we ignoring 'Generator Rex'? That one really had some unique aesthetics and Rex did have the ability to make machines and such. Plus, it's from the creators of 'Ben 10' so you know it's lit.

I gotchu fam. You're prob thinking of 'Sym-Bionic Titan'. It was kinda underrated, but the animation was top-notch. There were a few kids and they had this mech they combined into. Show didn't last long though, real shame.

Hmm... slick animation and robots with a kid involved... sounds a lot like 'The Big O'. It’s a bit lesser-known but def has a cult following. The protagonist wasn't a kid though, but he kinda controls the robot? It’s been a while lol

Could it be Robotboy? The animation was pretty cool and it had that unique style. Not your typical western cartoon look for sure.

sounds like you’re talking about Megas XLR. It had that big red robot and the gamer dude who controls it with a car as its head. 'Chicks dig giant robots' – the theme song was my jam!
