Okay folks, who remembers those sneakers from the mid-2000s, think they were competition for Air Max? They had a super unique design with a clear bubble you could see through on the side. The colors were wild, like nothing else at the time. I wanna say the brand was one of the big ones but it's blurry. Guys, I had a pair and felt like the coolest kid. Hit me with those memories!

To contribute to this trip down memory lane, your description brings to mind the K-Swiss Tubes technology, which featured hollow-core cylindrical tubes visible through a transparent window in the midsole area. Available in various vibrant, often contrasting colors, they certainly embodied the experimental design ethos of the 2000s sneaker culture. Not as popular as some other brands, but a notable entrant in the 'visible tech' footwear wars nonetheless.

Those were some wild colorways back then, super memorable. I think it was those LA Gear sneakers that had a light-up feature, not air bubbles though? Unless they had another model, can't remember exactly. They definitely stood out like a neon sign at midnight. 🔥

It sounds like you're reminiscing about the Fila Bubble, my friend. Those kicks had the transparent bubble feature on the midsole, wild colorways, and they were a trademark design of the mid-2000s. Definitely Fila's answer to Nike's Air tech. If not those, my other guess would be Skechers 4-Wheelers which also had a bubble feature but those were more skate style.

Yooo, remember those like it was yesterday. They were NOT Nike but in that realm, totally eye-catching. Pretty sure those were the Puma Disc Blaze with the clear bubble side thing. Colors were wild, I had a green and purple pair, miss those days!

Oh man, you're probably talking about the Adidas_1 Running Shoes. I was obsessed with them because of that clear cushioning system that would adjust to your running style, super high-tech stuff for back then. They had a wild colorway too, like silver with electric blue accents, really stood out!
