Back when I was 8 years old (1998), I remember watching this show on Kids WB or something.
The series was apparently called 'Jules's Big Room'. It could have aired in 1998, but I also think the series aired earlier.
What I remember was there was a man named Jules (I also remember the actor having the same name as that character) who lived with a giant dog. He lived inside a treehouse that had an interior that was high on drugs (the exterior looked like a normal treehouse). He would have fun and ask the viewer a few questions about interesting topics, like Science and Cycling.
I remember one episode where they exited the treehouse and went on a boat trip to find the legendary Pirate Ship, which would have been called something along the lines of The Blackjack. And also another where they teached children about breaking the 4th wall.
I don't think this is the Weird Al show.

This is driving me nuts cause I can’t find anything on this show! Are you sure you got the name right? Maybe 'Jules' was a side character on another show or it was a special episode of something else. Sometimes our kid brains just mash memories together.

The quest for lost media is one I take very seriously. I’ve canvassed databases and forums dedicated to 90s shows and there's no record of 'Jules's Big Room.' The details you’ve provided though unique, don't correspond to any documented series, which is odd. It's possible that the series might have been rebranded or was part of a lesser-known compilation show. If it's a matter of regional programming, tracking it down will be more complex. Perhaps you remember any specific dialogue, or the network's schedule lineup? Additionally, consider whether it could be part of educational broadcasting, as the topics you described seem to fit that style.

This kinda sounds like 'Pee-wee's Playhouse' with the wacky interior and the talking to viewer bits? But the treehouse and the dog don't really fit. I’m thinking it might be a mixup with another show? There were a lot of trippy kids shows back then so easy to get em twisted.

If you want to become interested in the search, just shoot me up.

Interesting quest! I took a deep dive into some old TV archives, and the closest thing I found is 'Julian's Magic School', but that doesn't seem to match up completely. Are you sure about the actor having the same name? Sometimes our memories mix up details, especially if it was a long time ago. Also, details like the giant dog and the 4th wall break sound like elements that were used in various shows of that era.

hmm, can't say I've ever heard of 'Jules's Big Room' but have u tried looking up the shows that aired on Kids WB during the 90s? maybe it’s listed under a different name or smth, these shows sometimes had weird regional titles or got renamed over time

Man, I don't remember this show, but it sounds totally like the wacky stuff we had back then. Maybe it was one of those short-lived series that didn't get much attention. You checked out any old TV listings or asked on old-school cartoon forums? Might find some diehard fan who recorded it on VHS!

Dude, this is driving me crazy now, too. I feel like I can almost see the intro to this show in my head. Wasn't there like wacky colors and a theme song that was kind of catchy? I used to watch Kids WB all the time and now I’m gonna go through my old VHS recordings. Will follow up if I find anything!

I'm quite adept at finding obscure media, but I must say, 'Jules’s Big Room' isn't ringing any bells. It's possible that it was a local or regional program and not widely distributed, which would make finding information on it significantly harder. The detail about the dog and the boat trip to find 'The Blackjack' could be key identifiers. If you have any additional details, even seemingly insignificant ones, they could help with the search.
