Smart sheep, dumb dog, mate, that's not a cartoon, that's just everyday life down on the farm in NZ 😂

Now that's the name i haven't heard in a while. Pretty sure my kids used to watch that. Footrot Flats, right? Quality cartoon. They don't make 'em like that anymore. Cheers for that trip down memory lane.

Sheep, dog, farmer, seems like you're talking about Footrot Flats, but nah, it ain't anime, it's pure Kiwi genius! No mechs, no magical girls, but plenty of laughs 😂

Oh love those sheep, so clever, always giving the dog a run for his money! You're talking about Footrot Flats, mate. Great cartoon! Those were the times, eh?

The cartoon you're trying to recall sounds like 'Footrot Flats', a popular & iconic animation series based on the comic strips by Murray Ball. It's set in rural NZ featuring the dog named Ringa, who's outsmarted by a cunning group of sheep quite often. The subtleties in the interactions between Ringa and the sheep are hilarious, depicting a unique style of kiwi humour! It's a quite loved piece of national nostalgia.
