Back in the 80s, I used to love a snack that was made with puffed corn. It was called SuperKetchup, and it was shaped like a pyramid and was dusted with ketchup powder. The packaging featured a man who was a superhero and had a tomato on his chest. I think the slogan was "Makes your mind blow!" and I remember eating SuperKetchup at the canteen or while I'm watching Agro's Cartoon Connection.
There was also a sweet variant with a minty kick which was the same shape but had an eucalyptus mint flavor. It had the same superhero, except he was green instead of red and had a mint instead of a tomato on his chest. I also remember seeing a commercial, and I also used to eat this.
I remember last seeing the snacks in the early 2000s, where they were sold at a BI-LO (man, I remember this store!), and then, they were discontinued. Sadly, I can't find any evidence that this snack existed. Help?

BI-LO memories, ah! Mum would never buy me SuperKetchup but I’d always sneak a bag at my mate's place. I remember they had SuperEucalyptus at the school fete. You could try reaching out to BI-LO staff from back then? Maybe someone's got an old uniform or promo materials with the superhero logos!

Fascinating! I collect vintage ads and I've got an extensive library of scanned magazines from the 80s and 90s. SuperKetchup doesn't ring a bell, but I'll have a dig through my archives this weekend. The imagery is too specific to not be legit. If it’s there, I’ll scan it and post it!

Seems like a Mandela effect thing mate. I was a 90s kid and never heard of them. Are you sure it wasn't a local brand or something? Sometimes smaller companies made snacks that didn’t go national, might explain the radio silence online. Any mates from that time who might remember?

No way, I thought I was the only one who remembered those! SuperEucalyptus was my go-to when I had a cold as a kid, kind of weird but it worked lol. Maybe check out some old school bazaar sales? Someone's old lunchbox might just be a treasure trove.

This is gold, SuperKetchup was a staple! Did u know the mascot was called Captain Condiment? Brand was bought out if I remember right. There might be old merch or collector's items around, look for collectors' fairs or on the Aussie nostalgia forums. Boxes, packages, old promo merch. Could be someone's got it in their attic.

Alright, buckle up, I'm on a mission now. SuperKetchup and SuperEucalyptus ring a bell. My tactic is to dive deep into archived advertising material and old TV guides. There're a few websites dedicated to Aussie ads from the past. If I find anything like a superhero with a tomato or mint on his chest, I'll drop a link here!

OMG yes SuperKetchup! My grandpa used to stash them for me when I visited. Legit forgot about them til I saw your post. They were the bomb! Have you tried looking up old supermarket catalogues? I remember those ads being everywhere back in the day. Good luck on the hunt!
