I bet you're thinking of the AT&T ad campaigns. They transitioned into tech dominance later and had quite a few youthful, active commercials. Hit the nail on the head there.

Sounds like it might be an early generation of the GoPro ads to me. But oops, GoPro didn’t come around until much later. Maybe there’s some forgotten tech company that transitioned out of sports. It feels familiar though!

I dug around a bit and found a Pepsi commercial from the late 80s that had a jingle eerily similar to what you're describing. They definitely played to the extreme sports crowd... could it be that, even without the tech aspect?

OMG bringing back all the memories. Are you thinking of the Canon 'Rebel' commercials? They had this vibe where they’d feature kinda extreme stuff and later transitioned to Canon cams for tech. Check their old ads!

This sounds like the Apple commercial from 1984 or maybe one of the old Nike campaigns, but the 'taking you higher' jingle isn’t ringing any bells for the tech side. Could it be a derivate of 'The Power of Love' ads for Sony Walkman? They did some commercials with action shots. Worth a look, anyway.
