Can't remember the name of this book!

Okay so there's this fantasy book... the cover was purple I think? There was a girl who's like chosen or something and she can talk to animals. She goes on a journey to find some magical artifact to save her kingdom. Can't remember any character names at all! Anyone have any ideas?

Sounds like something I would dream of writing lol! The talking to animals trope is a classic. Maybe it's part of a lesser-known series? I've read so many books like that but titles escape me too. Let me know if you find it, sounds interesting!

Purple covers are a myth. Everyone knows all fantasy books have dragons on the front. 🐉

Doesn't ring any bells exactly, but have you tried going through your local library's fantasy section and seeing if anything jogs your memory? That, or maybe use a site like Goodreads to search for keywords. Good luck!

So many fantasy books have that plot. Next you're gonna say there's a magical sword involved? 😜 But seriously, shooting in the dark here, maybe The Last Unicorn by Peter S. Beagle? Idk if its cover is purple or it's just my nostalgia.

This sounds familiar! I believe you're talking about Kristin Cashore's Graceling. The protagonist, Katsa, has a special ability and goes on a quest of sorts. The cover could be seen as purple-ish depending on the edition. Maybe check that one out?

Mmmm, not sure, but purple covers always remind me of the Inheritance Cycle by Paolini. But that's dragons, not girls talking to animals.. 🤔

It kinda sounds like it could be part of the Tamora Pierce series, maybe with Daine from her The Immortals quartet? She talks to animals and goes on adventures, tho the covers are usually green, not purple.
