I finally remembered the name of this work of art that's been haunting me for years! It's a Japanese print with a wave, but not the popular Hokusai one, something slightly different. After hours of researching Edo period art, I found it! Who knew how vast the world of Ukiyo-e could be, right? Anyone else have obscure art pieces that they're trying to track down? Let's talk about our discoveries!

For anyone else hunting down art pieces, try the Google Arts & Culture app! It has a ton of artworks from museums all over the world. You can search by eras, styles... helps narrow it down a lot. Especially if you’re on the hunt for a piece from a less popular period.

Hey there! As someone who’s spent a lot of time in the Ukiyo-e niche, I totally get how overwhelming it can be. If you’re ever stuck again, reigniting what you remember of the image with Google Reverse Image can sometimes do wonders. Also, the librarian at your local museum might be a good resource if they have a Japanese art collection.

Congrats on cracking the case! It's fascinating how art can stick with you and what a deep dive it sometimes takes to track something down. I’m currently fixated on identifying this ancient map I once saw that was filled with sea serpents and mythical creatures. Long shot but worth it!

Dude, I totally feel you! The world of Ukiyo-e is so vast and intricate, it's easy to lose track of all the gems out there. I had my own quest a while back trying to find a print that featured this serene night scene, only to discover it was by Hiroshige. Never thought I'd become such a sucker for Edo period nightscapes!
