It was broadcast on syndication, was entirely live action, no computer special effects or anything asides from live action. The series was titled something along the lines of "The Shelf" and it followed a group of real children who lived in a shelf and slept there. It broadcast in the early 80s and then revived in the late 80s. I remember seeing an Arabic dub of the series on YouTube. But I cannot remember the show's name. Help me...

Gonna need a bit more to go on here. Live action kids’ series in the 80s without special effects narrows it down, but 'The Shelf' doesn’t match anything in my extensive TV records. Any chance you could be mixing up the title? Maybe think about any of the actors, music, or even the type of stories they told.

This is a tough one, but I love a good challenge! 'The Shelf' doesn’t show up in most databases tho. Do you remember what network it aired on? Any specific plot lines or character quirks? Even commercials airing during the show can provide clues sometimes.

The Shelf doesn’t ring a bell for me, but for obscure shows like this, your best bet might be to check out fan sites dedicated to old TV programs or even archive sites. Sometimes old shows get put up for streaming on niche services. I'll do some digging and see if anything comes up.

Hmm, I don’t recall any live action kids' show like that. 'The Borrowers' was a popular theme but again, that’s not a show called 'The Shelf'. Maybe it’s a more obscure production, especially if you saw it dubbed. If there's any specific episode details or character names you remember, that might help narrow it down.

Oh this brings back memories, not sure if it’s the one but are you thinking of 'The Littles'? They didn’t live in a shelf but it was about tiny people with a society hidden from humans. It was animated tho, maybe there was a live action version I never heard of?
