Obscure 90s Computer Game, Fantasy Puzzle Solver?

Helloo internet friends! Desperately seeking this one old computer game from the 90s, was all pixely. It was a mix of fantasy and puzzles where you play as like a wizard's apprentice or something. Had to go around collecting ingredients for spells? Not a mainstream title, but I remember it being surprisingly complex with its puzzles and had a dope MIDI soundtrack. Thanks for any clues!

This is a tough one. Could be any number of those old Sierra or LucasArts games - they had awesome tunes and puzzles. I remember playing 'King's Quest' where you do wizardy things but probably not it. Wish I could remember more!

Kinda reminds me of 'Myst' just with the whole puzzle complex thing but that definitely didn't have spell brewing. Still, if you haven't played Myst, you should, even though it's not the game youre looking for haha.

Hmm, if it’s not one of the more obvious titles, you could be thinking of 'Zeliard'? That one's from '90 I believe, had this alchemy element to it. It wasn't exactly wizard's apprentice but had a similar vibe. The puzzles were pretty intricate for its time and the MIDI tracks were boppin'.

Yo, was it 'Quest for Glory' maybe? Those games were mixed with RPG elements, and you could totally be like a wizard and stuff. Had to gather herbs and things for your spells. Classic series!

I smell what you’re stepping in, it might be 'The Legend of Kyrandia'. That one's an adventure game from the 90s, you play as a guy called Brandon who's kind of a wizardy type? Had potions and it was all sorts of tough with the puzzles.

Sounds a bit like 'Loom' to me, except you're not really a wizard's apprentice in that one? It was from Lucasfilm Games. Absolute gem with a killer soundtrack. Maybe check that?
